Fossil Exploration Evening

Did you know that West Virginia was once home to a warm, tropical, shallow sea? We will learn about this more during our Fossil Exploration Evening at the Case Nature Center! We will get hands-on with real fossils—many from the rocks that make up the Mountain State. Along the way, we will journey through deep geologic time as we imagine what West Virginia looked like long, long ago and explore the ancient creatures that once lived here.
