Join Jessica Ramey for Nature Journaling!
Step into the mindset of curious naturalists and see the world through careful observation. We’ll explore playful journaling prompts, sketch, and note patterns that spark wonder and discovery.
The session will take place at Cool Spring Preserve, a 74-acre landscape of forest, meadow, and marsh in southern Jefferson County. Bullskin Run, a stream with historical significance, borders the preserve. Cool Spring is also a designated birding hotspot—an ideal setting to pause, observe, and create. In 2024, we expanded the preserve by 11 additional acres to help protect the sensitive Bullskin Run and Marl Marsh, in partnership with the West Virginia Land Trust.
