Discover the art of sustainable repair! Join Deborah for a hands-on mending workshop and learn how to breathe new life into your worn items.
Join us for a hands-on gathering dedicated to the art of mending—an eco-friendly practice that keeps well-loved items out of landfills and helps us connect more deeply with the things we wear and use.
We'll share examples of repaired pieces and demonstrate a variety of visible and invisible mending techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring one or two items in need of repair—whether it's a sweater with a worn elbow, a shirt with a tear, a tote bag with fraying seams, or the well-loved, worn-out dress of a doll!
Whether you’re brand new to mending or looking to expand your skills, you’ll walk away with practical knowledge, creative inspiration, and a renewed appreciation for making things last.
