Participants must be entering grades 1 to 6.
Please note that in order to accomodate our team’s ability to participate in our election, this camp will be slightly shorter than our camps typically are, ending at 2 PM.
Join us for a special "Election Day" School's Out Camp session! We will spend the day outdoors doing all of our favorite camp activities, like hiking, crafting, and fort time. Campers will also participate in a mock election, and vote for the animal puppet of their choice to be elected as the "Leave No Trace Ambassador" for the camp. The puppets will engage in debates and campaign for their chance to make a positive impact on the nature preserve! Campers will learn about elections in a kid-friendly and nonpartisan way, and will learn the importance of voting and making your voice heard in your community.
