November Outdoor School: Shifting Seasons

In November, Outdoor School will focus on the changing seasons and the science behind these changes. It will include activities and experiments such as leaf chromatography, tree identification, phenology, fungus, and making a foraged fall jam. We will also look at some seasonally familiar birds, learn which birds migrate and which birds stay behind, and practice our nature observation and recording skills.

Dates: November 6, November 13, November 20, (Skip 27th, day after Thanksgiving)
