October's Theme: Not-So Creepy Crawlies
Join us this October for a month-long Halloween extravaganza! Learn all about the animals (and some plants) that have a bad reputation for being spooky, yucky, or just downright weird. We will explore the true lives of carrion feeders, study real animal skulls, learn about poisonous plants, and get hands-on experience with nature’s cleanup crew - cockroaches and worms!
October dates: October 2, October 16, October 23, and October 20. Note that we will not meet for Outdoor School on October 9 because that is the day of our Trail of Bones event.
