Description

 

Join Master Naturalist Bob Thompson for an introduction to map reading and orienteering!

Participants will learn the fundamentals of map reading and land navigation in a fun, practical program focused on real-world skills. The session includes a classroom presentation and outdoor practice (but not a full compass course). You’ll leave with memorable, useful skills to help keep you safe in the outdoors. Maps and compasses will be provided.
