Let's get outside and enjoy the trails together!
This May, we’ll head out on a Wellness Walk along the Snavely Ford Trail, a scenic route that follows Antietam Creek for much of its length. Most of the hike is flat and shaded, offering a comfortable walk, with one short uphill climb near the end of the trail.
Snavely Ford holds an important place in local history. During the Battle of Antietam, this location is where U.S. troops commanded by Isaac Rodman crossed Antietam Creek. Join us as we enjoy the natural beauty of the creek, keep an eye and ear out for birds, and enjoy each other's company in this lovely, historic landscape.
