Join us for a training session to learn how to teach visitors and students about our Animal Ambassadors!
Are you interested in volunteering as an educator to share the life stories and conservation messages of our Animal Ambassadors? In this training, you’ll learn educational techniques and interpretive strategies to engage visitors of all ages at the Case Nature Center at our monthly Turtle Time programs. We currently offer these programs one Wednesday a month from 10-11 am, but would like to start offering this program in the evenings and on weekends as well.
At this training, you’ll gain the tools to communicate the important roles our Animal Ambassadors play in conservation. These animals, unable to return to the wild, serve as living reminders of the need for wildlife conservation. Through this training, you’ll not only deepen your understanding of wildlife conservation but also become a key part of educating others about the essential connection between animals, ecosystems, and human actions.
