Join Deana Thorsell for Nature Journaling!
Don’t be afraid to try it! Nature journaling is recording our observations, thoughts, and questions about nature using a combination through drawing, writing and numbers. By using all our senses, we begin to see things that we’ve never noticed before, hear new things, feel what is going on around us (feeling the wind or sun upon your face or touching the barks of various trees), smell our surroundings. We are making connections about our environment, plants and animals around us and recording our thoughts, questions or feelings in our personal journal to grow and learn along the way.
We’ll enjoy the wetlands, stroll amongst the trees, and we’ll have our eyes open for autumn birds, grasses and flowers in seed.
