Join Hardy Mason & Cybee Bloss to explore and learn about the variety of young and old trees growing at Claymont Retreat Center!
We will view and learn about a variety of native trees, including species rarely seen in this area despite being native. We'll begin with large mature trees near the Claymont Mansion. We'll then explore the newer riparian buffer plantings along the Bullskin. Those 700 or so newer trees and shrubs were planted both to protect the watershed and to provide food for people and wildlife.
