Join the education team at Potomac Valley Audubon Society at Cool Spring Nature Preserve April 4th for a day of Environmental Science fun. The program will last from 9:00 am-3:00 pm and will include meeting professionals in Environmental conservation and education, learning about ongoing community science projects, walking on trials, indoor and outdoor learning, and conducting experiments all of which will lead to the completion of all necessary requirements for Environmental Science Merit Badge.
Participants should be prepared for weather, bring a pencil and journal to record information to share with your troop, as well as a packed lunch and anything you need for a short day hike (≤1 mile).
Price: $10/youth (PVAS members receive a 10% discount). This program is for scouts 13 years or older or First Class rank. Registration is required and limited to 30 youth participants.
