Description

Join Potomac Valley Master Naturalists, JP Miller and Kris Phillips, for a bird walk along some of the trails at Eidolon Preserve.

We will explore some of this secluded preserve during the last couple of hours of sunlight to look and listen for birds preparing for their evening. Some species we may observe include a Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Eastern Towhee, Scarlet Tanager, Eastern Wood-pewee, Cedar Waxwing, American Redstart and if we are lucky, a Cerulean Warbler. The Full Moon Walk at Eidolon will begin after this bird walk (learn more here). Anyone with an interest is welcome to come along, regardless of their birding skills.
