This [Wellness Walk] is for the Birds! Special Event

Let’s get outside and walk the trails together! Wellness Walks are monthly group walks to different locations, and this special edition celebrates the 25th anniversary of "This Race is for the Birds!"

While most of our Wellness Walks are free, this one has a $15 registration fee—and here’s why:

1. Support PVAS: Your participation helps fund PVAS and the costs behind our free programming.

2. Commemorative T-shirt: All registrants who register by March 5 may receive a "This Race is for the Birds" T-shirt! Indicate your size when you register. Limit one per participant.

This walk offers a different atmosphere than the race. It’s quieter, less crowded, and shorter in distance, with more chances to pause and enjoy the beauty around us—literally stopping to smell the flowers. We anticipate spotting some stunning spring ephemeral wildflowers along the scenic route near Back Creek!

Note: Dogs are not permitted at this event.
