Spin into the world of spiders with Master Naturalist Allen Miller and discover why these eight-legged critters deserve our love!
In honor of Save a Spider Day on March 14, we’ll untangle the importance of spiders in our ecosystems. We'll begin with a Web of Life activity then we’ll learn about some of West Virginia’s common spider species. Along the way, you’ll learn what makes an insect an insect, how spiders differ, and dive into their fascinating life cycles and habitats. Don’t get caught in a web of fear—come learn to love your local arthropods!
Immediately after this program, Allen will lead a Full Moon Walk. Click here to learn more.
